Custom 404 Page

A custom 404 page is an important tool for your website you should ask your web designer to create.

If a visitor incorrectly types a webpage URL, they will still retain navigational options within your site and be provided alternative solutions. You can also have an automatic redirect from the custom 404 page to your homepage.

By providing users with a navigational bar and further assistance, rather than leaving them with a generic “page not found” error screen, you can often keep prospective customers on your site by providing them with navigation alternatives.

Who invented the Internet?

Although you might hear today that the Internet is 20 years old, and was invented by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN in Switzerland, the Internet was well established before Tim Berners-Lee created what is now its most popular application.

A major achievement? Sure! But we don’t ask why Benz doesn’t get some of the credit for inventing the wheel. We understand that the wheel was around before the car.

Was it Al Gore? No, former United States Vice President Al Gore did not invent the Internet. What’s more, he apparently never said he did!

Improve your website by simplifying your content rather than adding more.

You do not have to keep adding content to your website to improve it. Some website owners hurt their sites by continually adding features and content when they should be simplifying.

One solution is collapsing the content instead of removing it.
It is not always possible to remove content because of user habit, as your users might not find the links they are used to click on, and leave your site.

Read more on how to simplify your website here.
